FDC Construction and Fitout (Vic) Pty Ltd have been engaged to undertake refurbishment and extension works at 412 St Kilda Rd, Melbourne. The building is located on the corner of Bowen Crescent and St Kilda Road. The project will run for approximately 12 months, until November 2022.
FDC have now installed a Works Zone on Bowen Crescent and are setting up the Public Protection Measures on both St Kilda Rd and Bowen Crescent.
Throughout the course of the project, the works will require cranes to be set up on Bowen Crescent, meaning the road will need to be closed. Traffic management will be in place at these times and local access will be maintained to all premises effected by the closures. These closures will be kept to a minimum and you will be notified a week prior.
You are encouraged to let us know of any works you may have coming up in the area so we can work together to make it a smooth process.
Please don’t hesitate to contact FDC with any questions.
On this occasion we have succeeded in getting a very successful wreath winning team to act as the judges – Dani and Wally will be judging the entries and announcing the winners at the Xmas brunch on Sunday December 12 at 10am
If you have not confirmed your attendance at the Xmas Brunch then RSVP to Margaret Ph 0409 691 203 by December 7
The City of Port Phillip is looking at ways to make Park St (the South Melbourne one) better. The objectives of their work are
Renew the streetscape of Park Street because of the poor condition of the footpath and road and increased use from the future Anzac Metro Rail Station and redevelopment of properties in the local area
Make the street more attractive and comfortable for all users of the street by introducing landscaping and additional street trees for shade
Improve safety for people travelling along the Street by introducing protected bike lanes (temporary and permanent) and setting safer speeds
There is lots more here, including telling you how to give your ideas.
In the next two weeks we will update our security system and that change will allow residents to use their mobile phone in place of their fob and car park buttons.
The old system will still operate – you can keep using the fob or car park button is you prefer. You do NOT have to use your phone
We believe that it is a good backup for everyone. If you lose your fob, you can still use your phone to get into the building.
There will be no cost for the first two phones in each apartment. Additional phones will incur an annual cost of $15.
To provide access to your phone, Paul will need your email address. He will be chasing you for an email or you can give it to him next time you see him.
