On Monday night, a resident’s bike was stolen from the lower basement bike racks. The perpetrator got in through the front door as another resident was leaving. After taking the bike, they then returned to look for unlocked cars.

As a matter of general security, please do not unlock the door for anyone you are not familiar with, and be mindful that doors lock securely behind you when you leave. If you notice a door that should be locked is being chocked open, please close it securely.

If you keep a bike in the lower bike racks, ensure they are locked in place. Similarly, make sure to lock your vehicles and do not store spare keys in them that would allow a thief to gain access to the rest of the building. If you have a fob that you leave in the car please bring it to the concierge office and it can be programmed to only open the roller doors
