Driveway – difficulties on Saturday

Hopefully it won’t look quite as bad as this …but on Saturday there will be some difficulties in getting in and out of the lower car park.
You should have received notification, but if yopu are concerned call the 1800 105 105 number
BTW – This photo of St Kilda Rd tram works is courtesy of the State Library. There are more fabulous photos over near the Cobbers Statue in the Shrine grounds.

Driveway access – be careful
It’s always been a tough driveway but it is even tougher now…have a look at this
- Badly parked trucks in Bowen Lane
- Vehicles with flashing lights – for no obvious reason
- Less than highly aware traffic management
- Difficult ped visibility
I was pleased today that no one came out while I was going in – yes it is all two way…and no crazy bike riders
Be careful
Evening work

From CYP…
Good afternoon everyone,
Just a quick email to let everyone know that the extended working hours for steel fixing that was advised in the July Construction Notification will begin on Wednesday 17 July.
This section of steel fixing work will be in the Southern End of the South Box nearest to Bowen Crescent and will involve fixing steel bars to the section of recently broken out concrete.
We anticipate that the works on this particular section are likely to continue until Thursday 25 July. Please note that there will be additional extended hours associated with steel fixing at a later date.
During extended hours the works have been limited to those that will generate the least possible noise for local residents. There will be no concrete breaking during this time.
The extended hours works will continue until approximately 9:45pm (at 10pm all works will be complete and packed up)
If you have any concerns during these works – please don’t hesitate to get in contact.
Thanks, Rob
