Please be advised that CitiPower will be carrying out essential works on their substation located on Bowen Lane, Melbourne. The works involve the removal of redundant substation equipment.

What to Expect

• Traffic management will be in place to safely guide pedestrians and cyclists around the work area.
• Minor traffic delays may occur.
• Access to local properties, homes, businesses and car parks will be maintained at all times.
• No power outages are planned as part of these works.
• Some of the works may be noisy.
• Works may take longer than expected or may need to be rescheduled due to weather or other factors outside CitiPower’s control.

Who Is Carrying Out These Works?

These works are being delivered by CitiPower, the electricity distributor for Melbourne’s CBD and inner suburbs. The works are being undertaken as part of the maintenance and upgrade of the local electricity network.
