Sorry for the poor-quality photo – but he is back!!

Ironically only today I received a formal reply from VicRoads and I quote “Following an assessment, it was determined that the damaged pole was beyond repair and requires full replacement. Unfortunately, there has been a delay in obtaining the necessary replacement components. Once these parts are received, installation works will be prioritised to restore the pedestrian lantern as soon as possible.”

I am still sure it is the rare earths that they are after in the LANTERNS
