Action near Anzac Station next Tuesday

Hello,   As part of getting the Metro Tunnel ready for operations activities and exercises involving firefighters, police, SES and paramedics will take place at Anzac Station from 7am to 5pm on Tuesday 22 April 2025.  

These activities and exercises will take place inside Anzac Station.

During this time, you may notice low levels of noise, carrying of emergency equipment in and out of the station and emergency services personnel around the station. There will be no testing of alarms, vehicle sirens or changes to traffic or tram services as part of these activities and exercises.   Emergency Services vehicles, including fire trucks, ambulance vehicles, police vehicles and other marked vehicles, will be parked from 7am to 5pm in some parking bays around Anzac Station.

Emergency Services vehicles parking on St Kilda Road Northbound lanes in the four ¼P parking bays between Bowen Lane and Albert Road south Northbound lanes in the two Emergency Services vehicle/Designated vehicle bays next to the St Kilda Road and Albert Road intersection Southbound lanes in the seven ¼P parking bays next to the St Kilda Road and Domain Road intersection   Emergency Services vehicles parking on Albert Road Westbound lanes in the 5 minute parking area next to the Albert Road and St Kilda Road intersection Westbound lanes in the two 5 minute parking bays between the Taxi drop off and Loading Zone bays

Fortnightly Works Lookahead

Hello all,

  1. Façade B(Driveway):
    a. This façade is now complete (excluding balcony areas & ground floor
    areas).
  2. Façade D(Bowens cres):
    a. We hoping to complete painting works to this façade next week
    (excluding balcony internals & ground floor areas)
  3. Façade C (Rear):
    a. We will be commencing pressure washing & remedial works on this
    façade from Friday 11th April.
    b. Please remove as much as practically possible from your balcony,
    especially any fragile or easily damaged items.
    c. Please ensure all windows and doors are closed for the duration of the
    painting works, which is expected to be approx. 4 weeks.
  4. Ground Floor Areas / Front Retaining Walls:
    a. We expect to start works on these areas in the next few weeks.
    b. Next week we are planning to commence render repairs to the front
    retaining walls

    a. Weather permitting, we hoping to complete painting works to these
    façade in the next 1 week (excluding balcony internals & ground floor
    areas)
    b. Please ensure all windows and doors are closed for the duration of the
    painting works.
  3. Façade C (Rear):
    a. We will be commencing pressure washing & remedial works on this
    façade from Tuesday 8th April.
    b. Please remove as much as practically possible from your balcony,
    especially any fragile or easily damaged items.
    c. Please ensure all windows and doors are closed for the duration of the
    painting works, which is expected to be approx. 4 weeks.

Carpark Closure 3rd+4th and other upcoming works

Hello all,

  1. Façade B:
    a. This façade will be complete by Wednesday 2nd April (excluding
    balcony areas).
    b. On Thursday 3rd April & Friday 4th April access to the lower carpark will
    be blocked between 9am-4.30pm to enable dismantle of scaffolding. If
    you do need to use your vehicle, please ensure this is removed from
    the carpark prior to 8.30am. (We apologise for the short notice;
    however, we understand that the removal of the hoarding is a priority)
  2. Façade D:
    a. Weather permitting, we hoping to complete painting works to these
    façade in the next 2 weeks (excluding balcony internals & ground floor
    areas)
    b. Please ensure all windows and doors are closed for the duration of the
    painting works.
  3. Façade C (Rear):
    a. We expect to commence pressure washing & remedial works on this
    façade during next week.
  4. Ground Floor / Front Retaining Walls:

    March.
