The narrow service lane next to our apartment block has been open for just a few days to allow car park access for us. The signage is not perfect but I can’t imagine why anyone would think it may be a through road…maybe the 20 kmph was the challenge

CYP have just let me know that the driveway access via Bowen Cres will not happen by 4pm as scheduled

It will be open tonight but not before 5pm…best guess is 530pm

Here is time lapse of today’s noisy day

A few people have commented that today is a terrible day for dust coming from the work site. The good news is that the wind is largely from the north but it is still not great.

I contacted CYP and they said they’d have a water cart out there to help remedy it. It came past at 9:08 am just before they packed up and went home due to high temperature.

They did run the water cart over things – but hardly extensive. Here is a shot of the water cart in action..yep that’s all he did

I understand that it will come back again – on Sunday

Public holiday Monday and RDO on Tuesday and so no work until Wednesday.

I was pleasantly surprised to learn that our trees will be saved after all.

CYP brought a professional scaffolding guy in today and he is 100% confident that he can fit the custom built scaffolding around the trees. A beam may touch some leaves but that is the worst case.
