Metro Tunnel downstairs this evening
If you have any questions, the Metro Rail pop up shop is open this evening from 530pm – 730pm. It is in the commercial premises of our building on the corner of Bowen Cres.

Traffic hassles getting out of Bowen Cres ‘corner’
Not sure if any of you have had similar hassles to me. With both ends of Bowen Cres closed, it is a very slow process to get out onto Kings Way / Toorak Rd…especially at 5-6pm each night.
I reported this to John Holland a week ago and no real action
I reported it to City of Port Phillip last night and they were checking it out today…thanks City of PP

In case you have not noticed, our tram stop has gone – for good
A little less inconvenient but the other stops are MUCH safer

Bike theft
Please be aware that we had an intruder on New Years Day.
He followed someone into the building and removed a bike from the basement car park.
Can people with bikes stored in the basement car park please check – if your bike is missing, please let Paul know
The theft has been reported to the Police and they have been provided with photos of the offender.
Sick of reversing beepers – Please tell Metro Tunnel
If you are sick of hearing the sound of reversing beepers from Metro Tunnel work, then please call the 1800 number and complain. We have had extensive discussions with Metro Tunnel and they keep saying, they will stop it…but everyday there is another one and another one.
Here is today’s example
What you need to do is call 1800 551 927 and tell them that you have heard a reversing beeper. I always leave my name, not sure if it is compulsory? I try and capture the rego of the offender.
You should only report vehicles working on Metro Tunnel work – not general delivery vehicles. If you are not sure, tell them that and place the onus on them

City of Port Phillip submission – Domain Station
As part of our concerns with the Chiller Plant vents being located opposite Botanica, I spoke to the City of Port Phillip. The following text has been included in their submission.
Built Form and urban structures within St Kilda Road Boulevard
The impact of service equipment, including ventilation shafts and chiller plants, are to be appropriately sited within the medium of St Kilda Road to avoid dominating views along the boulevard and the visual effect created by the tree avenue planting The chiller plant should be reduced in height and treated appropriately in consultation with residents in the immediate area
